Synopsis

After the Mega Pizzaplex was rebuilt, clean, tidy, and safe, Washington City was hunted and burnt by the fearsome blazing fire shokan warrior Kintaro. MMA fighter Cole Young, Gregory, and his Glamrock animatronics find the sanctuary at the temple of Lord Raiden. Training with experienced fighters Kuai Liang, Smoke, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Johnny Cage, Jax, Stryker, Sonya, Kitana, Nightwolf, Kenshi, and the rogue mercenary Kano. Cole, the group of fighters, and the Glamrock animatronics prepare to stand with Earth's greatest champions to take on the Outworld enemies in a high-stakes battle for the universe and put together to stop a group of enemies from invading the Earth and destroying its dimensional structure. Kintaro was equally furious and wanted his prey back. He ordered the Glamrocks to return the lost human.

Kung Lao is a former Shaolin monk and a member of the White Lotus Society. He stands in the shadow of his great ancestor, the Great Kung Lao, but unlike his great ancestor, he has no desire to be a champion and would rather live a life of peace.
