A remake of the 1980's move, star quarterback Flash Gordon and New York travel agent Dale Arden are kidnapped by Dr. Hans Zarkov and taken to the mysterious planet X, Mongo. There they find the warring tribes under the control of the despot Ming the Merciless who has set his eyes on Earth for destruction. The trio must work together to stop Ming from destroying the earth in 48 hours and finding a way back home
