set a few years after the events of Shrek 2, Shrek is about to be prepared to become the next king of Far Far Away as it turns out Harold isn't in the best shape or health right now and at thirst it isn't easy for him to become king but to complicate things more is a familiar face from Harold's past trying to seek to conquer Far Far Away for their nefarious deeds and now Shrek has to seek the advice of Merlin for help but also deal with his father and becoming a parent too.
