Five Nights At Freddy's is a 2024 American science fiction action film written, produced, and directed by Zack Snyder. Based on Scott Cawthon's video game franchise of the same name, it is the first installment in the Five Nights At Freddy's film series. The film stars Peter Cullen as Golden Freddy, who protects a night watch officer (Evan Peters) from four animatronic mascots that have been tampered with, and features Vin Diesel as Freddy Fazbear, with Megan Fox, Idris Elba, Mike Myers, Edward Norton, and Robert Englund in supporting roles. Five Nights At Freddy's was released in theaters on December 1st, 2024; the film received generally positive reviews from critics, audiences, and fans of the games, receiving praise for Snyder's direction, visuals, Hans Zimmer's musical score, the performances of the cast (particularly Cullen and Diesel), action sequences, themes, story, cinematography, and faithfulness to the source material, with many considering it to be one of the best game adaptions of all time.
