During the film, when Michael puts young Cameron Afton to bed one night, he is greeted by Abigail after shutting the bedroom door, who then asks him, ''How do you think Cameron will turn out, Michael?'', who then looks down at the floor, remembering one of the dark days he suffered from depression after losing his brother, Evan. This was one of the days where the relationship between him and his mother was fractured, the day he pleaded to his mother than Evan's death wasn't his fault, when his mother didn't listen and called him a disappointment. Michael looks back at Abigail, and says, ''I hope he's not like his past relatives...'' before leaving the hallway in silence.
