My original story. United States,early 20th century. John comes home on a winter evening for Christmas. He comes from a rich white neighborhood across the street from a poor black neighborhood that all the rich neighborhood residents shun and dislike. As John spends yet another lonely Christmas, a woman from the opposite neighborhood who lost her home a few months ago knocks on his door.
