Synopsis

College student Eve Murphy finally comes back to her hometown for summer vacation after having been at school in Pittsburgh for 3 years as her estranged father Sheriff Joel Murphy deals with a strange illness that has popped up in town that seems to be bringing the dead back to life. Sophie is a teacher at the local elementary school. She was best friends with Eve when the two were growing up. Sophie's father died while Sophie's mother was pregnant with her. Sophie bonded with Caleb over both their broken families which turned into a relationship which has lasted to present day.
