Rebirth of the Planet
In the towering industrial city of Midgar, powered by the planet’s life energy known as Mako, a former elite SOLDIER turned mercenary — Cloud Strife — takes on what seems like a simple job: assist a rebel group called Avalanche in bombing a Shinra reactor. But what begins as sabotage quickly spirals into something far greater. As Cloud reunites with his childhood friend Tifa Lockhart and encounters the mysterious flower seller Aerith Gainsborough, he is drawn into a conflict that threatens not just Midgar — but the entire planet. Shadows from his fractured past resurface when the legendary war hero Sephiroth reappears, believed long dead. Sephiroth’s plan is apocalyptic: wound the planet, absorb its power, and ascend as a god. Haunted by memories that may not be his own, Cloud must confront the truth of who he is, what SOLDIER really means, and whether he can protect the people he’s begun to care about. As ancient forces awaken and the planet itself cries out in pain, the battle becomes more than rebellion. It becomes survival.
