That is, until the arrival of Batty Koda, a wacky bat who tells the fairies that he has seen the humans. But, when Crysta the fairy sees Zak the human is helping destroy the rainforest and she accidentally shrinks him. Before, Hexxus is the oil-like creature to help the humans to destroy FernGully in the forest. Until they will help out to stop him.
