Doctor Doom lures Bruce Banner to his secret base in Latveria, promising him a potential cure for the Hulk. Instead Doom betrays Banner and manipulates Hulk into attacking America in the hope that Hulk will destroy Doom’s enemies, the Fantastic Four. True to Doom’s plan, General Ross calls in the Four to deal with the Hulk. Mr. Fantastic uses he scientific knowledge to assist the military, while the Thing and the Human Torch personally engage the Hulk. Meanwhile, the Invisible Woman uses her powers to sneak into Latveria and uncovers the truth behind the Hulk’s attack.
