Hailing from 17th Century Spain, Esteban Menendez Flores is an alchemist and occultist of some renown, enough that many people refer to him by the name "El Diablo" for his heretical practices. Using an ancient spell and powerful relics to reach across time and steal family members of the Fantastic Four in an effort to lure them into his era, Flores intends to use them to gain that ultimate goal coveted not only by alchemists, but by men centuries before and after his lifetime: immortality. And he might just have the power to break up the four, with what he's promised Ben.
