Description of Johnny Storm (Human Torch):

Hotheaded teen Jonathan Storm and his older sister Susan moved in with their aunt after their mother died in a car accident and their father was incarcerated for manslaughter. They met scientist Reed and joined him on a secretive space flight. During the flight, they and their pilot Ben absorbed cosmic rays and crash-landed back on Earth. Crawling from the wreckage, Storm burst into flames but didn't burn. He discovered he could control the flames on his body. Along with the others, who also changed, Storm became a member of the Fantastic Four and named himself the "Human Torch."
