After a tragic accident in an alternate dimension, Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben experience unusual superhuman abilities beyond their control: Reed Richards can stretch like rubber, Sue Storm can become invisible and generate force fields, Johnny Storm can engulf his entire body in fire and fly, and Ben Grimm develops a rock-like hide which gives him superhuman strength and durability. Together they must use their powers to fight their former friend Victor Von Doom now the most powerful enemy yet; the evil Dr.Doom.

When Reed Richards helps Victor Von Doom on the cliff of Planet Zero, the energy is transferred to him resulting his arm to slightly stretch and upon their return to Earth, his legs have stretched as his anatomy becomes rubberized in elasticity
