Synopsis
Fantastic Beasts: The Pureblood Revolution is a 2005 epic fantasy adventure film directed by Gareth Edwards, based on the fourth volume of J. k Rowling Fantastic Beasts. The film is the fourth instalment in the Wizarding World Franchise and was produced by Barrie M. Osborne, Fran Walsh and Edwards, from a screenplay by Walsh, Philippa Boyens, Stephen Sinclair and Jackson. The film features an ensemble cast including Hayden Christensen, Elizabeth Olsen, Josh Gad, Kate Winslet, Tobey Maguire, Jordana Brewster, Ziyi Zhang, Paul Walker, Emmanuel Natalia, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Christian Bale, Idris Elba And Ewan McGregor.
Continuing the plot of The Secrets Of Dumbledore, the film intercuts three storylines. Newt Scamander continues his journey towards Defeating Grindelwald, The Ministries Of Europe banding together to bring down Grindelwald's Empire and Credence's road to Redemption.
It theatrically released on 18 December 2005 in the United States, and on 19 December 2005 in New Zealand. The film was acclaimed by both critics and audiences, who considered it to be a landmark in filmmaking and an achievement in the fantasy film genre. It received praise for its direction, action sequences, performances( Particularly Walkers). It grossed $936 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing film of 2005 and the third highest-grossing film of all time at the time of its release. Following subsequent reissues, it has, as of 2021, grossed over $947 million.
