Now, Harvey Elder's participation was what was supposed to be Tim Blake Nelson's participation in the final product, being a mad scientist obsessed with the negative zone, but because of this he was fired by Victor and Dr Storm, subsequently being wanted by Susan and Reed to investigate certain phenomena that could be the work of the negative zone. In the end, Harvey ends up opening a crack towards the negative zone, bringing a monstrous creature that would attack the city, being stopped by the Fantastic Four. Harvey would be imprisoned but would escape with Doom's attack to later become the Mole Man.
