The stories of an evil Superman are almost as old as Superman himself. But this is a different kind of that story. Instead of being launched off of the doomed Krypton and being raised by the kindly Jonathan and Martha Kent on Earth, baby Kal-El was discovered on the Earth-like planet of Gaia by the Shinra Electric Power Company's resident mad scientist Hojo and his wife Lucrecia Crescent, who raise the Kryptonian child and inject him with Jenova cells to turn him into the One Winged Angel known as Sephiroth.
