Synopsis

James "Bucky" Barnes tries to forget his dark and violent past while also trying to reintegrate into society and to be well regarded by people and the media. The Avengers disbanded, but Shield remains active, and Sam Wilson continues to carry out missions while facing a mental duel with himself to try to prove to himself that he is capable of taking on the mantle of Captain America.

Description of Baron Zemo (Helmut J. Zemo):

Zemo again tries to gain control over the Winter Soldier, while recruiting several men specialized in combat to become new "winter soldiers". Upon being betrayed by Hydra, he begins to help James Barnes by giving him important information. In the end, on the verge of death, Zemo reveals that now "the story is not about them, that is now about something way bigger than both of them", and also reveals that the Serpent Society now commands Hydra.
