Synopsis

First movie in a potential series based on Vertigo’s Fables. Fairy tale characters have been forced from their homeworld by enemy forces. Now they are trying to build a new society in New York. But old enemies challenge the new lives they have built.

Description of Bufkin:

A flying monkey librarian. He does not venture outside his home "The Woodlands Complex", and therefore does not need to use Glamour. (Expensive drugs used to make animal fables appear human). Works alongside Bigby and Snow. During the final battle, Bigby chooses to use his body to shield Snow rather then lash out at Baba Yaga. Bufkin then leaps to their defense and uses an enchanted sword to behead the witch, saving the day.
