Lester Lynch is a schizophrenic former government asset whose mind was shattered by a covert program called "Black Charon." He hears voices that command him to kill, suffers from violent psychotic episodes he cannot remember, and relies on medication to keep his demons at bay. A janitor by trade, Lynch snapped one day, beat his boss unconscious, and was convicted of murdering his wife—though he cannot remember doing it. Alternately verbose and feral, Lynch speaks with unsettling precision one moment and bites off an enemy's ear the next. He is not evil, but he is dangerous. Partnered unwillingly with Kane, Lynch seeks answers about who experimented on him, hoping to finally silence the voices. Beneath the madness, there is a wounded man desperate for closure.
