A scientist called the High Evolutionary has kidnapped Rocket & Groot of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Invisible Woman of the Fantastic Four for his experiments. The remaining members of the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Fantastic Four join together to save their comrades. They are joined by the Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver of the Avengers as they have a score to settle with the High Evolutionary as he was the one who gave them their powers.
