As their relationship deepens through stolen moments and whispered confessions, Maddy begins questioning whether her mother's suffocating protection is genuine care or something far more sinister. Set against neon-soaked suburbs and synth-pop soundtracks, the film explores the intoxicating rush of first love, the courage required to break free from control, and the devastating cost of discovering the truth. With the stakes mounting and her world literally collapsing around her, Maddy must choose between the safety of her prison and the uncertain freedom that awaits beyond it.
