Description of Eternals Assemble (Episode 3):

Episode 3: Sersi learns that Ajak as chosen her to take her place as leader. The Celestial Arishem confronts her. He reveals the real reason why he sent the Eternals to earth to help humankind. The earth needs the necessary energy to give birth to another Celestial, Tiamut (which is called the Emergence), which in affect destroys the planet and all its inhabitants. She learns that they have been doing this many times on previous worlds, after each Emergence, the Eternals memories are wipe and restarted. Sersi in disbelief wants to prevent the Emergence as she have fallen in love with the people of earth (and boyfriend Dane Whitman). Sersi, Ikaris and Sprite decide locate the other Eternals.
