The making of Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, a psychological horror masterpiece, was fraught with tension between Kubrick and his cast, especially Shelley Duvall. The biopic would focus on the intense methods Kubrick used to get the performances he wanted, and how this affected the cast and crew.
