In 1953, Elvis Presley recorded "My Happiness" and "That's When Your Heartaches Begin" as a birthday present for his mother at the Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee. Marion Keisker, the assistant of Sun Records owner Sam Phillips, wrote "Good ballad singer. Hold. Impressed by Presley's singing, Phillips joins Presley with bassist Bill Black, and guitarist Scotty Moore, forming the Blue Moon Boys.
