Description of Return to the Fourth World (Earth-4):

Metron returns to the Fourth World, where Orion, Lightray, and Bekka have been hiding with Blackfire. Blackfire was found with a Mother Box, one of the two keys needed to use the Anti-Life Equation. DeSaad captured the Mother Box, and he is about to fully unlock the equation. Though Metron tries to remain neutral, he soon decides to help them destroy the Mother Box and kill DeSaad. They're hunted by the Furies and the assassin Kanto. In the end, DeSaad uncovers the Equation, the heroes use the Mother Box to teleport away, and Darkseid prepares to invade the earth his "son" escaped to.
