His father was a petty crook who ended up serving a prison sentence, and even after the sentence was served, his father did not return to the family. becomes Red Hood after being killed and resurrected. He adopts the persona of Red Hood, a costume and moniker previously associated with the Joker, and becomes a violent anti-hero, operating outside the Batfamily's more ethical framework Jason is revived and adopts the Red Hood persona, emphasizing his shift in values and methods.
