A three part mini-series set in 1968.
Chapter 1 "Suffer The Little Children" covers the murders of 20 children in Springwood, OH.
Chapter 2 "The State vs. Frederick Charles Krueger" covers Fred's trial and eventual mistrial.
Chapter 3 "Purification By Fire" covers the parents of Springwood exacting their vigilante justice on Fred Krueger.
Since Freddy killed children, it would be tough to take the traditional horror/slasher approach so I would make it more of a crime thriller/horror similar to The Silence of The Lambs. read more
