Rescued from a compromised Mogwai sanctuary maintained by the Safinat Dakhma in Star City in 2013, Gizmo is the last known surviving mogwai of natural birth. He was adopted by the assassin Nathan Scofield who gave the mogwai his name after he showed a knack for gadgetry.
