Walter Kovacs was born as a result of his prostitute mother and an absent father on May 21st, 1940. After a violent incident involving some bullies in July of 1951, Walter was taken into care, upon the realisation that his mother was regularly abusive. In adulthood, he found himself living in the slums again, becoming the vigilante 'Rorschach' after a neighbourhood injustice. In 1975, he kills for the first time and is increasingly violent with criminals. After the Keene act is passed, he continues his vigilantism, effectively becoming a criminal. He is imprisoned and his identity is revealed on October 21st, 1985. Nearly two weeks later, on November 3rd, he is vaporised by Doctor Manhattan.
