Synopsis

With the return of an ancient foe and the kingdom of Ferelden engulfed in civil war, a select few have been chosen by fate to become Grey Wardens, a legendary order of guardians, and they are the only defense to Ferelden, and all of Thedas. Together, they must unite the races of elf, man, dwarf, and mage to stem the tide of darkness and stop the Fifth Blight before it truly begins- or fall defending the warring lands.

Description of Oghren (The Dwarf):

Oghren is a crude dwarven berserker fond of all things alcoholic. He was one of the best warriors of his generation in Orzammar. He became interested in a young woman of the merchant caste, but his house soon betrothed him to a woman of a smith caste family named Branka. Within a year after their marriage, Branka was declared a living Paragon, but the stress of her new status put a heavy strain on them both. He began drinking heavily, and she began an affair with his cousin. When she left with her whole house in search for an ancient dwarven artifact, Oghren was left behind. After a drunken brawl, he was stripped of his honor and barred from bearing weapons in the city.
