Synopsis

With the return of an ancient foe and the kingdom of Ferelden engulfed in civil war, a select few have been chosen by fate to become Grey Wardens, a legendary order of guardians, and they are the only defense to Ferelden, and all of Thedas. Together, they must unite the races of elf, man, dwarf, and mage to stem the tide of darkness and stop the Fifth Blight before it truly begins- or fall defending the warring lands.

Description of Leliana (The Bard):

Leliana is an Orlesian bard who came to the village of Lothering to join the Chantry to atone for her past sins. There, she has a vision from the Maker, finding an impossible white rose on a dead bush in Lothering, indicting hope in this time of war. Despite the Chantry's claim that the Maker doesn't communicate directly with individuals, Leliana is firm in her belief. She soon encounters Wardens in Lothering. When they are set upon by soldiers, she assists them in the skirmish. Following this, she explains that the Maker had sent her a vision which meant that she must aid them in their quest to end the Blight. She is very proficient with a bow as well as duel-wielding blades.
