Synopsis

In the mid-15th century, The Ottoman Empire expands its power to Europe in the south, and the Kingdom of Hungary, a Catholic powerhouse, to the west. A young prince ascended the throne in the Principality of Wallachia amid political chaos and internal strife. His name is Vlad III. With Wallachia weakened by corrupt aristocracy and external threats, Vlad begins a struggle to protect Wallachia. As Vlad grapples with the harsh realities of leadership, he has since became known for his brutal tactics against his enemies and dissenters, earning him the moniker "Vlad the Impaler." His reign is marked by relentless warfare and grisly displays of power meant to intimidate both his enemies and his subjects. His ruthless methods and unyielding dedication make him both a feared and revered figure across Eastern Europe. Amidst these turbulent years, Vlad faces mounting pressure from the Ottoman Empire, which seeks to conquer Wallachia and expand its influence. His relentless defense of his homeland becomes legendary, but the relentless strain of war and betrayal begins to take its toll. This is the story of how Vlad eventually became the first vampire that ever existed, Dracula.
