Synopsis

After Mario and Luigi defeating Bowser during the events of The Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong returns to his home in Kongo Bongo, where he aims to get some well earned rest and relaxation. This time of r&r is undone when King K Rool, the leader of the Kremling Crew, steals the Kong’s treasured Banana hoard in a hope to use them as a fuel source for a ray of destruction.
