Synopsis

RUN THEN, CHILD. YOU CAN'T HIDE FROM ME FOREVER. Martin McKenzie, a teenage gas station cashier on the outskirts of Houston, is drifting after graduating from high school. Description of Simone:

Like her last name suggests, she is a fairy in human form. A multifaceted talent- producing her own clothes, cultivating her own garden, and known around the neighborhood for her baking skills. With the money she earns at a locally owned bakery, she plans on moving to Paris- both to get a shining culinary education, and to bring her mother back to her hometown, after years of daydreaming. Simone met Martin in kindergarten, and, after his transition (which is never mentioned in Dogmouth), the two began dating when he was 16 and she was 17.
