Clea has brought Doctor Strange into the dark dimension and had done so for backup because Dormammu has come out of dormancy and is on the run and causing havoc on earth when doctor strange and Clea confront him Dormammu says that a guy named nightmare is controlling him Dormammu asks them to run but nightmare captures them and then Doctor Strange tells nightmare about America Chavez and the fact he just wants to go home. Nightmare just summon Chavez there and she uses her powers to escape with Doctor strange and Clea while the bounce through universes they rally up a group of familiar faces as an army to attack the monster named nightmare
