The Skull Islanders are the mysterious tribe of natives who worship Kong. They have a primitive tribal culture (inspired by cultures like the Zulu and the Maori). At first, they are scary when they capture the crew and offer Ann as a sacrifice, but after Kong's capture and removal from the island, they chant a sad dirge as a farewell to their god.
