Jura is the leader of a herd that lives in the further parts of the valley. Jura is selfish and opportunistic in his leadership. Jura is different from Kron (from the first film). While Kron did care for the dinosaurs he deemed were the strongest, Jura cares solely for himself, and seeks to control every herd he encounters.
