The Wimpy Kid you know and love, Greg Heffley is all grown up. He's also back for an all new Christmas movie. The Heffley family is still living together after all those years. But the difference now is that Greg's older brother Roderick is married to Heather Hills, Manny is now eight years old and Sweetie the family dog is getting on in dog years. Another big upcoming change is that Greg is going to ask his long time girlfriend, Holly Hills to marry him underneath the mistletoe at the town's annual Christmas party. However, when Patty Farrell tries to take away the engagement ring to add it to her jewelry collection, the road to marriage may be a bit rockier than Greg expects it to be. But with the help of his best friends Rowley and Fregley, he may have a chance to win the heart of the girl of his dreams and to make his Christmas wish come true.
