Synopsis

May Cry series, Created and directed by Hideki Kamiya featuring the main playable character, Dante, a son of Sparda, as the main protagonist. The game opens with a cutscene where a woman named Trish bursts into Dante's shop and asks for help. The game is set entirely in and around a castle where both Trish and Dante go to on Mallet Island.

Description of MUNDUS ((Voice)):

Mundus, known as the Prince of Darkness, is the overarching antagonist of the Devil May Cry franchise. He is a devil prince who ruled the Demon World two thousand years ago, overthrowing the previous ruler of the Demon World and threatening the human world. Some time after conquering the devil throne, Mundus' rule was challenged by the demon god Argosax, and a great war followed that divided the Underworld in two sides. Upon trying to take over the Human World, the demon swordsman Sparda, his right-hand man at the time, rebelled and defeated him and his armies, sealing him away in a vault on Mallet Island. He appears as the main antagonist and final boss of Devil May Cry.
