Season 2 follows Kylon settled at Auradon Prep — a student, a VK, a son reuniting with his family — but the emotional work is far from done. His relationship with Kopa and Vitani is genuine and growing, complicated by the reality that he was raised by Scar and Zira and carries those years in ways he doesn't always recognize. His younger siblings — twins Zara and Tau, 10, and youngest Simba II (called Simbi), 7 — have known their parents their whole lives and don't quite understand why Kylon sometimes looks at family dinners like he's seeing something he wasn't sure was real. Meanwhile, Claudine begins investigating whether Frollo has been using forbidden influence from the Isle to affect Auradon's court system — which turns the season into a legal and political thriller woven through the personal story. Princess Joanna, discovering that Prince John has been secretly amassing influence from the Isle through old Sherwood sympathizers, faces the hardest choice of her life. New character Rowan Hades (son of Hades, Mal's half-brother) arrives at Auradon Prep and becomes a friend and occasional rival to Kylon whose dynamic is one of the season's most popular elements.
