Synopsis

The Descendants is an American musical, fantasy television film directed and choreographed by Kenny Ortega. Actors Dove Cameron, Sofia Carlson, Cameron Boyce and Booboo Stewart played the roles of teenage children Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella De Ville and Jafar. The film tells about the adventures of teenagers adjusting to life outside their comfort zone when they tried to steal the wand of the good fairy to free their parents from captivity. The film debuted on July 31, 2015 on the Disney Channel and attracted an audience of 6.6 million viewers[1], receiving positive reviews. The success of the first film led to the creation of the "Heirs" franchise, first the CGI animated animated series "Heirs: An Evil World" was released, followed by the sequel "Heirs 2", which premiered on January 28, 2017[2]; the third film "Heirs 3" was released on August 2, 2019
