Synopsis

On the island of Iunctus, the people are ruled by a monarchy and split into four different sectors. Those in the lesser sectors are treated like filth, and the Defiance seeks to change all that. Annika Merrea is a member of the Defiance, a group that is rebelling against Iunctus’ rulers. When intel is received that Annika looks scarily alike to the princess, Annika is sent undercover, to switch places with Princess Karis. While Annika uncovers a dark plot within the monarchy, Karis grows closer with members of the Defiance and learns how to finally be free from the expectations of royalty.
