Synopsis

After many supporting roles, Sammy Lucas finally gets a starring role… in a play! During a somehow successful run, the unexpected breakout star is killed in an accident on stage. Unconvinced her death was accidental, Sammy looks back at the events that happened backstage, hoping to discover which of the dysfunctional cast and crew had dunnit.

Description of Margaret Lovejoy (The Starlet):

A Hollywood actress and member of the cast, who is trying to take a break from the movies in favor of a more intimate experience. She’s at the age where she’s in a transitionary period between being a major starlet and becoming a veteran, which seems to happen quickly to women especially. She and Ada struck up a friendship, helping each other improve their performances.
