Fan Casting Dr. William G. Dobbs in Dead and Buried

The town mortician and coroner. With deep pride of his home town, Dr. Dobbs has kept all his old friends reanimated following their deaths, and re-populates his old town with new victims who cannot be traced to the area. He has managed to reanimate himself as he lay dying. He manages the town’s goings-on, sets up marriages, provides his ‘creations’ with jobs and homes, and maintains his creations’ appearances on a monthly basis, to prevent rot or decay. He was the chief pathologist in Providence, Rhode Island, until he was dismissed ten years before for conducting unauthorized experiments in the morgue. He prides himself on giving the seemingly unhappy perfect new lives. Aged 70-75.
