A man with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder who spent years abroad studying the criminal underworld and trained with Ra's Al Ghul's League of Assassins. This version of Bruce is less experienced and therefore less ruthless than the Batman seen in BvS and Justice League, after all he struggles to contain his impulses and anger, at the same time as he learns to trust people, an arc that is undone after about a decade later with Robin's death
