The Birds of Prey, the world's finest team of all-female superheroes. The original members of the team were Black Canary, the Huntress, Bellyloth, and Jade, who were all mentally controlled by the evil Doctor Psycho and used by him to fight members of the Justice League. He was defeated and “the Birds Of Prey” were not mentioned again for the next few months. When Barbara Gordon was kidnapped and was going to be coerced into revealing the true identity of the Batman, Black Canary and Huntress teamed up to rescue her; they them decided to bring back the idea of The Birds Of Prey as a force of good, and they recruited new members to their cause.
