Batman and The Joker, locked in a deadly battle, are interrupted by the sudden appearance of a superhero new to Gotham: Spider-Man. Later, after deducing that there is a multi-verse, the members of these two colliding-universes fight for supremacy. Later, specific villains from these universes come to an agreement involving the Anti-Life Equation...
