Tommy Merlyn is the childhood friend of Oliver Queen . He died in 2014 during the undertaking caused by his father Malcolm Merlyn only to be resurrected by the league of shadows in 2017 where he trained extensively in archery and martial arts becoming a Ruthless Assassin known as the Dark Archer succeeding his father.
