Enhanced with a stabilized micro-dose of Compound V, he gained superhuman reflexes, precision, and endurance without the volatility of full Supes. Vought marketed him as “the soldier’s soldier — hero by training, not mutation.” But after exposing corruption inside the program — where failed subjects were quietly executed — Crock was disavowed, erased from public record, and forced underground. Now operating as Sportsmaster, he’s a contract enforcer and combat trainer-for-hire, often used by rogue agencies, corporate security forces, and criminal networks.
