She was initially wary of Allison Blaire joining her band but after nailing her audition as a backup singer and demonstrating her mutant powers, she's hired. However as it turns out, she has a contract with Mojo and initially was tempted to free of him if she traded herself with Dazzler but rejects the opportunity as she and Dazzler become friends in the end after trials and tribulations and rebel against Mojo.
